3D Philosophy
We believe that everyone needs to train for something, whether it’s at home, work or play. We want life to become easier and therefore more enjoyable. We are in a lifelong battle against gravity, and we need to know how to fight back.
In a nutshell it is about 3D, core, and balance. 3D refers to the three dimensional nature of everything. In function it is simultaneous movement front to back, side to side, and in rotation. In our lives it is mind, body, and spirit. Unfortunately, most people tend to think, train, and rehab one dimensionally.
The core is the foundation of the body. We have to strengthen our bodies from the inside out. Just like a house, it doesn’t matter how strong our outer shell is if we have a weak foundation.
Balance ties everything together. Good balance is a form of strength. The nerves and muscles work together to create balance. Training balance promotes joint stability and prevents arthritis.
At 3D PT, we want to empower individuals to take their fitness beyond what they previously thought possible.
